On February 25th, Jarvis Christian University ENACTUC program hosted Career Readiness presentations for Upper Bound students. The study day/workshop revolved around preparing students for the world job market and enhancing their soft skills. The program included different presentations by distinguished professionals. I was invited to present on a very interesting topic, "Global Fluency Awareness”. While sharing my perspective and knowledge on global fluency with high school and university students, it was an opportunity to present my experience as a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant at Jarvis Christian University. I gave them a glimpse into The Fulbright Program and how it shaped my views on global fluency. The students were very excited and asked many questions about international opportunities and global soft skill demands.
